New Delhi: Manjeev Singh Puri, India’s Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations, has been appointed the next ambassador to Belgium, it was announced Tuesday.
An Indian Foreign Service officer of the 1982 batch, Puri will also be accredited as Indian ambassador to the Council of the European Union and The European Commission.
In another announcement, Malay Mishra, ambassador to Hungary, has been concurrently accredited as the Indian envoy to Bosnia and Herzegovina, with residence in Budapest.
