Washington : The Presidential Democratic Candidate Barack Obama led the voting intentions for the forthcoming November general elections in US, revealed the Real Clear Politics (RCP) elections poll summary.
According to the web site Illinois senator has six-point ahead of his rival the republican John McCain.
Obama appears with 48 percent of support of people’s polled, noted the source that compiled investigations from Gallup and Rasmussen firms from the Democracy Corps group of CNN TV station and Los Angeles Times newspaper.
Regarding the situation of the states considered key for the final position of the battle for the White House, the RCP web site showed the Afro US candidate leading possible elections in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Ohio and Iowa.
However, McCain is leading in Florida, North Carolina and Virginia.
Experts warned that difference between politicians in those territories is very narrow mainly in Virginia, Florida and Michigan where the margin is hardly two points less.
Obama and McCain said to have the best projects to face unemployment that has hit tens of thousands US citizens for six month consecutively, according to reports from the Labor Department.
