Tehran : Iranian government, religious and military officials warned the US and Israel of the disastrous consequences for their troops in case of an eventual aggression by land, air or sea against Iran.
Deputy Commander of the Guardians of the Islamic Revolution, Brigadier Gen. Mohammad Hejazi, said Iranian armed forces will make enemies regret even daring to threaten the country’s security.
Before a group of 800 volunteer militants in defense of the Iranian Revolution, Hejazi reiterated remarks made today by representatives of the top religious leadership that Tehran is not trying to foment any war or generate tension in the region, but any aggressor will surely regret if national security or prosperity is put in danger.
He recalled that since the triumph of the Revolution in 1979, Iran has faced enemy threats, conspiracies and hostility, mainly in the wake of its decision to develop nuclear technologies por peaceful purposes.
