Islamabad : Pakistan, for the second test in three days, launched a Shaheen II Lang-range missile, capable of carrying nuclear warheads, reported the Army’s strategic command.
The Shaheen II was also successfully tested last Saturday, in land-land rockets of two stages capable of hitting targets 1.2 miles away with conventional and atomic charges. The missile was first tested in 2004.
The chief of Pakistan army admiral Muhammad Afzal was present at the test and congratulated scientists and engineers responsible for the missiles development.
