Tehran : Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki said on Sunday that Iran is to publish the text of cooperation with IAEA known as Modality Plan.
Addressing university students at the university of Science and Technology, Mottaki said based on Modality Plan, the IAEA had raised six questions on peaceful nature of Iran’s nuclear activities which Iran responded to in details.
They even raised questions beyond Modality Plan but Iran never hesitated to answer them all, he said.
48 or 72 hours prior to ElBaradei’s reports, the US raised new unfounded allegations to this end, Mottaki pointed out.
According to the rules and regulations of IAEA, if any country has to put forward any claims, the IAEA decides how to deal with it within its own regulations, he said.
On Modality Plan, the IAEA has informed in writing that the case now is over, he underlined.
IAEA reports indicates that the international body has no more question on this, Mottaki said.
The allegations raised by the US could be mentioned by others as well, he said adding that according to IAEA’s rules and regulations the natural process should be paved prior to responding to any claims and if it in be proved that it is unfounded, the party making such false claims would be punished.
On Iran’s stance on declaration of Kosovo’s independence, he said Tehran is now studying the sensitive situation of that region and is to announce its stance in due course.
Iran has not taken any action regarding developments in Kosovo, underlined Mottaki.
