Pakistan: All political forces of Sindh to be consulted on formation ofthe provincial government, says Zardari

Islamabad : Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarians has enough strength in Sindh Assembly to form a provincial government on its own.

However, PPPP is eager to listen to views of other political forces, Party co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari said.

Addressing PPPP Sindh Parliamentary meeting at Zardari House, the PPPP co-chairman said the Party has decided to take all political forces in the country together and asked the members to make suggestions for reconciliation with them.

“Suggestions of newly-elected members would greatly help in formation of government and resolution of other political problems in Sindh,” he said.

Asif Zardari said that his meeting with the Sindh Assembly members was part of the Party’s drive to have broad-based consultations within the Party for formulating its future course of action.

The PPPP candidates should report rigging cases with the PPPP Election Monitoring Cell, Election Commission of Pakistan and other legal forums, he said.

He said the participants, in their speeches during the meeting, showed complete confidence in the Party leadership and authorized it to take appropriate decisions for formation of government in the province.

Senior PPPP leaders Makhdoom Amin Fahim, Yousuf Raza Gillani, Jehangir Bader, Raja Pervez Ashraf, Nisar Khuro, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Nafees Siddique, Raza Rabbani, Sherry Rehman, Prof N.D Khan, Syed Khursheed Shah, Senator Safdar Abbasi, Nawab Yousuf Talpur, Azra Fazal Pecheho, Dr Fehmida Mirza and Begum Ashraf Abbasi also attended the meeting.
