Islamabad : A Pakistani jet fighter Wednesday crashhed in northern Frontier province while on routine flight killing the pilot.
A Pakistan Air Force (PAF) plane crashed in Mardan district while on routine flight after developing some technical faults, official sources told KUNA.
They said the pilot was killed in the accident. However, Associate Press of Pakistan (APP) citing PAF sources said that the PAF trainer Jet T-37 was reportedly missing.
It said the trainer jet took off from Risalpur base and when it reached near Mardan, communication contact with the aircraft of the ground tower went off.
