Cuban Doctors Say Good Bye in Namibia

Windhoek : The Cuban diplomatic mission in Namibia bid farewell Sunday to a brigade of 112 medical doctors and health professionals that served in the Namibian health sector for two years.

Dr. Leoncio Padron, the National Coordinator for the Cuban Medical Brigade in Namibia, highlighted the gratitude of the Namibian Public Health Ministry and the local people for the contribution of the Cuban staff.

Meanwhile, Evelio Sanchez, second secretary of the Cuban Embassy in Namibia, pointed out the humanitarian and professional duty fulfilled by the medical mission.
