I, Mohd Aamir @ Gulfam s/o Abdul Rahim r/o H. NO. 1288, Gali No. 25/2, Chauhan Bangar, Matke Wali Gali, Seelampur, Delhi-53, make the following complaint.
I live at the above address and work as a contract manufacturer of PVC machines. This evening at about 8:00 pm. I was approaching the bus stand outside G-Block Shaheen Bagh near Woodland Showroom when a black Hyundai Verna car stopped on the road in front of me and two hefty men jumped out. One of them caught my left hand and twisted it while the other gripped my neck in the crook of his arm and said, “aaj tera kaand kar denge.” I shouted “bachao bachao” whereupon several local people ran towards the car and tried to help me by rescuing me from their grip. There were three four other people in the car who escaped and one of the persons keeping me in their hold was caught by the public while the other also succeeded in running away.
A crowd had gathered and one of them whose name I later learnt as Mohd Asif had called the PCR. The police came and the person caught and the car that had no number plates were brought to the police station Jamia and several respectable citizens and a large crowd also gathered. In the presence of the DCP Sri Ajay Chaudhary and other police officers as also many respectable persons of the area I narrated the incident in Urdu which was reduced to writing in English in the presence of all and then read over to me which I found to be correct.
The black Hyundai car, several documents like PAN cards, credit cards and other documents and a number plate with No. DL 1 TW 1509 were seized by the police. Owner’s manual and service booklet of the car with owner’s name given as Mr. Vinit Sharma and address H. No. 512 Rajendra Park, Gurgaon and Model name Verna CRDJ VET, delivery date 05.05.08 was also seized. A Nokia mobile phone with number 9891372932 was also seized. A loose SIM card of Tata Indicom with number A0000006394485 D-59C was also seized. I have told the police that there is lot of other stuff in the seized car and the police are confirming the car.
The DCP has announced to all in my presence that he had contacted SSP Noida who said that the people who had come in the seized car wanted to arrest me for a robbery case registered there. I have suffered some internal injuries and sustained external bruises in the scuffle with the alleged UP Policemen.
The entire complaint has been read over to me in Urdu. I am sure that the UP Police would have killed me in a staged encounter if they had succeeded in kidnapping me in the way they had attempted to.
I had come to Shaheen Bagh on my Pulsar bike DL 5 SZ 6249 with my friend, Irfan who ran away on my bike when this incident took place. The alleged UP Policeman caught by the crowd and handed over to Police of P.S. Jamia Nagar has been identified as S.I. Ashok Pal Singh posted at PS Sector-58 Noida. It is requested that action as per law be taken against the culprits.
