Dhaka : Selim Al Deen, the legendary dramatist from Bangladesh, who compiled the “Bangla Natyakosh”, the country’s only anthology on theatre, is dead.
The plays of the 58-year-old playwright, who died Monday, are included in the textbook curricula of Dhaka University and Jahangirnagar University and in Jadavpur University and Rabindra Bharati University in India.
He was also the founder of Fusion Theory and New Ethnic Theatre, The Daily Star said Tuesday.
