Under this program 50 meritorious and economically weak students will be supported across India. The scholarship will be awarded to students at any academic level after passing high school in any area and at all levels of education. Selection of students is based on merit-cum-means. The actual amount of award will be determined based on financial need of the student (upto Rs. 1200/month for 12 months). An initial commitment is made for one year, but the recipients are given to understand that they will be supported to the highest degree level as long as they perform well, still in need of financial assistance and the funds are available at AEEF. Any substantial financial aid from other sources precludes the award of this fellowship.

Last date to submit the application form is September 15, 2010. Successful candidates will be invited for interview by a facilitator in some major cities across India.

Further information about the eligibility requirements for the scholarship and application forms could be downloaded from AEEF website: http://www.aeef.net
