Adv Shahid Azmi shot dead in Mumbai

Its high time Muslims should unite and just follow Quran and sahih hadith of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam). Its no use running behind this worldly pleasure which will perish one day.

Stop hating fellow muslims and make unity with each and every muslims....we share the relationship of brotherhood...

Make no mistakes....follow not the satan....dont worry for your life as Allah is the only wakil and he is the only helper for us muslims in this time of tyranny and terrorism...

We condemned the Killing of this breaking brave advocate who was known for his humble & honest approach towards judiciary.He was killed by the Hinduvta Force brigades but there are many Shahid Azmi waiting in the queue for taking up the cause of poor, innocent muslims victims of 1993 Bomb Blast case.This is shocking incident for whole indian judiciary wherein lawyer is killed for taking up the innocent muslim cases.We all muslims pray for him & his family.Muslims please wake up now.This is alarming situation wherein whoever fights for you will be eliminated by the Hindu Extremist Groups.

Hindu Extremist groups are well supported by the Rajan,Poojari etc but muslims has nobody as a supporter except Allah the AlMighty.

Shahid Azmi's death has been shunned by the Media.Only URDU media has come up with this News.Please convey this killing to each & every muslim forum across the world.

My humble request to all muslims around the world to condemn this killing.

Adv. Shahid Azmi was a softspoken and humble person, he was good human being, a lawyer with full energy and enthusiasm born for fighting for the cause of justice, specially for poor persons who can not bear the cost of litigation.

i know to him since 2005 AS he was friend of mine, though he was senior to me by 2 to 3 years, still we use to discuss the law, sometime at sessions court.

just before 2 days i was in the sessions court obsevering the new books of law at bookstall available in the sessions court, that time i saw Shahid Azmi talking with Adv. senior Ponda Sir,
lateron he came near me and asked how are you ? with a smiling face.
i said fine....

The news of his murder was so shoking.. i could not belive, still i can feel his presence.

when i gave my helping hands and shoulder to his death body, at Mosque i was crying and i could not control myself.

i have lost a friend.

Undoubdabley Shahid Azmi was brave and good human being, may Allah give him Jannath.

It was a very tragic and paining news for me.
Sahid Azmi was the real asset for poor Muslims,
Particularly who had been falsely trapped in cases related to terrorism.
Azmi was true Muslim, a very soft spoken and he never care for money. He was very honest and professionally a very sharp lawyer.
Unlike other Muslim lawyers, he never care for his life and never charged highly ever.
We may pray Allah for his Mugfirat and reward for his good deeds towards Ummah in Jannat-ul-Firdaus.

Ah.... Words can't describe the sacrifices, efforts and struggle done by Late Shahid Azmi for advocating the innocents and his loss is a big blow not only to those who are languishing behind bars but also to the whole Muslim community.
He truly served the community and suppressed people and was always out of the limelight.

His replacement is hard to find.

This is very tragic. Now even the defense lawyers of innocent muslims are becoming the targets of tirades of true terrorists who are covering their faces with so called nationalist mascot. I am writing the alleged arrested muslim youth as innocent because they are innocent until proven guilty.
Advocate Shahid Azmi has gone through the trial and trivia of police brutality when he was arrested at the age of 16 under black act of TADA. Now he was fighting for the victims who were arrested under the pretext of their involvement with terrorism.

This is not simply a murder of a lawyer but a symbolism and message to all those who are fighting for the rights of innocent people. The murderer and their mentors/bosses want to send a message to the lawyers community that if you try to fight for the cases of Muslim youth arrested under the pretext of Terrorism, you will have the same fate as Adv. Shahid Azmi.

Government needs to step up and arrest all those true terrorist who even does not believe in the Indian constitution and can not even wait to see the rulings of Indian Court.

Justice should prevail and the lawyers should not get scared and should come forward to fight for justice.
