Aurangabad: The fifth death anniversary of architect of modern Aurangabad city Dr.Rafiq Zakaria was remembered in a programme held at Maulana Azad College, Aurangabad.
Dr. Zakari’as wife Padmashiri Fatima Zakaria, Director of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University Board of college and University developement Dr.A.G.Khan and other social worker and eminient personalities paid rich tributes to the former minister,intellectual and educationist Late Dr.Rafiq Zakaria.
Dr. Zakaria was involved in India’s freedom movement and spent many years in public service after Independence. He has authored several books. His son Fareed Zakaria is a famous journalist based in the US.
Principle of Maulana Azad College,students,staff and non teaching staff and staff of other institute run by Maulana Azad society were present at the programme.
