Chennai: In the wake of Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi’s indictment by the Supreme Court-appointed Special Investigation Team for the 2002 riots, Tamilnadu Thowheed Jamath has demanded the Central Government to immediately dismiss the state BJP government and arrest CM Modi.
“The SIT has clearly pointed out the crimes of Modi. At this point of time, Tamilnadu Thowheed Jamath demands the central government to dismiss the government of Gujarat headed by Modi and it also request the government to arrest Modi immediately,” TNTJ said in a statement today.
To stress the demand, TNTJ called a public protest in Chennai on 5th Feb. 2011 at Park Town Chennai.
