Patna: Continuous arrest of Muslim youths from Bihar over last three months in connection with terror cases now seems to have forced the community leaders in the state to take the matter seriously. Top leaders of eminent Muslim organizations gathered at the headquarters of Imarat Shariah (Bihar, Jharkhand & Orissa) here in Patna on Monday. They expressed deep concern over the arrest of innocent youths in terror cases.
The leaders were unanimous that arrest of innocent youths by Delhi Police is highly condemnable; it is injustice to Muslims.
The meeting was presided over by Ameer Shariat Maulana Nizamuddin who is also General Secretary of All India Muslim Personal Law Board. Others present at the meeting were: Maulana Anisur Rahman Qasmi (Nazim, Imarat Shariah), Haji Mohd Sanaullah (General Secretary, Idarah Shariah), Husn Ahmad Qadri (General Secretary, Jamiat Ulama-I-Hind –Bihar & Jharkhand), Afzal Husain (Secretary, Bihar Rabeta Committee), Rizwan Ahmed Islahi (Jamaat-e-Islami Bihar).
They also condemned killing of 10 Muslims in Jamui district by Naxals, closure of a slaughter house in Vaisahil and attempts of communal flare-up by communal forces in the state.
