MCRC Jamia starts two new courses, last date for application May 8

New Delhi: Starting this year, the AJK-Mass Communication Research Centre (MCRC) has upgraded two of its diploma courses into full fledged MA degree programmes, namely: MA in Development Communication and MA in Visual Effect and Animation.

The AJK-MCRC is one of the premier media institutions in India. It was founded in 1982 by Anwar Jamal Kidwai (former Vice-Chancellor of Jamia Millia Islamia and later Chairman of the Centre).

The MCRC offers graduate and post-graduate courses in the art, craft and technology of the modern media. It provides the highest standard of media education and training with a professionally and academically accomplished faculty and a broad spectrum of visiting professionals.

The last date for submission of completed application forms for admission to the following courses on offer at AJK-MCRC for the academic session 2013-14 is May 8, 2013:
1) MA in Mass Communication
2) MA in Convergent Journalism
3) M.A. in Development Communication
4) M.A. in Visual Effect and Animation
5) PG Diploma in Broadcast Technology
6) PG Diploma in Still Photography & Visual Communication
7) PG Diploma in Acting.

The Prospectus and application forms can be obtained on all working days (except Sundays/Holidays) at counters of M/s Maktaba Jamia Limited located on Jamia campus on cash payment. The Prospectus and application forms can also be downloaded from Jamia’s website: http://jmi.ac.in
