Rihai Manch raised the issue of security of the Muslim youth who are in jail for their alleged terror links and has demanded a high level enquiry into threats to some of the Muslim youth who are in jail for their alleged terror links.

On June 18, Rihai Manch had held a press conference and made public letters purportedly written by Tariq Qasim, Naushad, Abdul Shakur and others who are in Lucknow jail. The form submitted a copy of the letter to the Governor where these jail inmates have alleged that the Jail authorities, perhaps on the direction of the UP government, is trying to instigate communal infighting among jail inmates in the name of India-Pakistan, religious issue and Dalit and upper caste divide.

Shahnawaz Alam, Spokesperson of Rihai Manch, also alleged that the police have put a chip in the body of Iqbal, a resident of Shamli who was in Tihar jail for long time on terror charges but was later acquitted from a Delhi court. He is now languishing in Lucknow jail in connection with another case.
