Darul Huda Islamic University, Kerala signs MoU with Kuwait University

Kuwait: The Dean of the Islamic Studies and Sharia of Kuwait University, Dr Mubarak Al-Hajiri signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Dr Bahahuddin Nadwi, vice chancellor of Darul Huda Islamic University, Kerala, for further collaboration in the field of Islamic education between the two Universities.

Darul Huda Islamic University was introduced to Dr Al-Hajiri, while saying that DHIU has envisioned imparting and sharing its basic philosophy with other well managed institutions with aims and objectives identical to it. “Therefore, the affiliation of the institutions all over India to DHIU is accepted warm heartedly, but with stringent terms and conditions. Those institutions are bound to undergo to the academic and infrastructural rules and regulations designed by the University and should be implemented by the supervision of Principals and course coordinators, who would be in constant touch with it,” a release from Ismail Hudawi, general secretary, Daru al Huda Kuwait Committee, said.

After signing the MOU, Dr Al-Hajri expressed thankfulness to Dr Bahahuddin and recalled the long term relationship with India especially the coastal region of Kerala and earlier.

Dr Sayyid Ghalib Al-Mashoor Thangal, DHIU advisory board member, Kuwait Committee, who accompanied Dr Bahahuddeen, introduced to Dean of the Kuwait University, while saying that presently, Dr Nadwi is holding as vice chancellor of Darul Huda Islamic University, Kerala in addition to being Member of International Union of Muslim Scholars and several other positions, the release added.
