All party meet to protest Aler encounter held at Hussaini Alam, Hyderabad

By TCN News,

Hyderabad: An all-party protest public meeting was held to demand a CBI inquiry or probe through a sitting High Court judge into the inhuman killing of five Muslim under trial youth in judicial custody by the Telangana police on April 7.

The all party protest meeting was held at Bara Galli Road, Hussaini Alam, on Sunday, May 24, 2015 after Maghrib prayers, which was presided by Maulana Syed Hamed Hussain Shuttari.

The meeting also protested the criminal silence adopted by the so-called Muslim leadership, including those associated with the Telangana Rashtra Samithi. “The TRS government did not suspend any of the police officials who were involved in this fake encounter,” a release from Amjed Ullah Khan, a city corporator, said.

The alleged encounter had occurred when the five deceased were being shifted to Hyderabad criminal court for a trial. Police claimed to open fire when an accused tried to snatch a weapon from a policeman between Aler and Jangaon, about 80 km from Hyderabad, in an area bordering Warangal and Nalgonda districts.

“The police theory that the Muslim under-trials tried to escape by snatching the weapons could not be believed as it is illogical. Keeping silence on this fake encounter will be like giving license to policemen to kill Muslim youth as and when they like and justify the same by giving weird theories,” the release said.
