I could have been an MP from Malegaon, instead my life was ruined by false terror charges: Dr Farogh Makhdoomi

Dr. Farogh Makhdoomi, who was wrongly arrested in the Malegaon blasts case, spent five years in jail before he was discharged from the case along with 8 other Muslim youth.

Before his arrest, he was earning a good income, but during the five years, the torture and the harassment he underwent meant that he now suffers from short-term memory loss. Dr Makhdoomi went on to file more than 700 RTIs during his stay in the jail, and is now fighting for compensation. He spoke with Twocircles.net about his trials and tribulations.
