What would you suggest to improve Hajj journey?

Assalamu alikum i have named to my babe before 1 year as a Nashmia Fatima so please conform me any one is this right name and i have selected from internet at Arabic names list but some are says its parsian name.

GoI must start shipping services to KSA so that muslims can stop in middle of Arabian Sea pray in the Kabristan of Osama Bin Laden and proceed from there........

I would suggest that some of the volunteers should be ready to do small infromation sessions on what Hajj is and transparency on what muslims do during Hajj.

This does not have to be like a conversion kind of exercise but just to increase understanding and familiarity between Muslims and non-muslims. Something like a Open house session and a tour of Haj houses to school kids and university people.

Haj Commmitee should book good hotels in makkah and madinah & not search for the low cost hotels.Where rooms.toilets,lifts etc are inadequate.

Very simple solutions -- but first Muslims need to use common sense.That can be done only once they are able to overcome their emotional sentimental reaction to any issue, which itself comes from ignorance(jahalat) of the crux of the problem.
1.Should anyone keep repeating HAj --- definitely, if he/she can afford it ? ---Definitely, it would be better than frittering away their money and also Eiman in some foreign tour or amusement.
Repeating Hajj gets back the wanderer back to Eiman, piousness and nobilty, he/she will become more useful to humanity.
2.Many ignorant travellers to Haj create lots of disturbance.Training by qualified and experienced personnel should be mandatory before clearing for Haj.
3.Should Muslims ask for subsidy -- Absolutely Not!
If he/she can afford, make the pilgrimage.If not, they should wait till they are able to collect the whole amount.Also, no taking loans with/without interest for this purpose!
4.Bargain collectively(jamaah/group has blessings) for the approx 1.6 to 2 lac Indian travellers and Inshallah if there is an honest and uncorruptible negotiating team for making this huge bulk booking; Saudi Airlines or any other one would have no choice than to bring down the to-and-fro economy fare to 35,000 to 40,000 per person, with all the amenities.
5.Which board or group should do this imp job of negotiating for all these Indian Haj pilgrims?
The corrupt Hajj Committee -- No way! (if Muslims have any sense left).
Maybe the Haj Fund of India members alongwith educated and knowledgable genuine Muslim -- Engineers,genuine Doctors,
Architects,Chartered Accountants, Lawyers, Administrative
officers,etc.-- a total of maybe 99 Professionals with adequate knowledge of Deen also.
Simple Solution to chalk out,isn't it!
But in practice, next to impossible -- Can Muslim Indians get over their own selfishness,small mindedness,and inability to come together for a vital cause leaving aside their petty uninformed opinions,sects,groups,castes; and come to a common platform for a collective strength and benefit.

The concept of haj that once it was has no importance now. Once upon time Muslims meet in Haj once in a year and discuss Muslims and Islamic issues. In those day media was not as it is now. the world has become a village and is in our Pam now. i am seeing since 40 years Muslims gather pray weep and cry for liberation of Palestine. Any use ? you think your self.

How it looks that a poor person collects paisa by paisa for haj and spend it in a week with no practical
Political, social, economic etc sparing reward in Jannah.

Every Muslim from India spends Rs 1.5 Lacs on Haj . By Haj committee . 1, 60,000 go to Haj and 40,000 go privately. A wise person can easily guess the economic impact of it on Muslim community of India which are poor , pauper, uneducated and always begging for government aid. This money can very well be utilized for development of Muslims. Remember that Islam is with Muslims, Masques are with Muslims, Muslims are not with Masques.

I am not talking here as Mullah, but as a common Muslim person. I wont say that we should not go to Haj. I will be kafir if i say so. The easiest thing in Islam is to become out of faith/Kafir. You say something which can not be digested, you see wrong, even you think something wrong also will make U out of faith and you become Kafir. Is it not the easiest job in the world? !!!!!
What I will insists at this stage is Muslims should go to Haj once only as a religious act without tall talks of benefits of Haj.

If only once Haj is allowed, then other Muslims will also get chance and there will not any need of Qurrah / Lottery which itself is UnIslamic.
Remember that there are 180 Million Muslims in India, But Haj Quota is only 1,60,000 . How other will get chance if wealthy Muslim repeatedly go to Haj by hook or crook.

Remember again that only one Haj is farz. after that all are nafil and nafil act has least importance in Islam.

I believe saudi govt. is striving hard to provide maximum facilities for hajjis. however the toilet situation in mina tents is unbearable. The number of toilets are extremely low for the hajjis. my suggestion is to make a clear rule that certain number of toilets should be available for certain numbers of hajjis. Let me emphesize again about the unbearable hygeinic situation at mina tents.
Once again I thank the saudi govt. for their sincere services.

no government employee( of haj community) should be allowed to come with the hajjes.employee young youth and Islamic minded youth for servicing the haji in the haj operation.
There is not proper control on the operators.
no hygienic condition prevail in your accommodation in makkah and madina.
it is the worst situation in the camp.
no Islamic sharia.
in one room two couples are sleeping.
it is horrible.
i don't what is the meaning of Islam for haj committee, it is only earning there live hood.
i can expose many things of the haj committee.

A cleaner can come in Aircraft Toilet from Madina to India with the Hajis that itself tell the Quality of service provided by our so-called Haj Committees ?

Did any one take the moral responsibility for the quality of services provided to Hajis and resign on moral ground ?

Did anyone or Haj committees is serious to take the opinion from Hajis, what difficulties they have faced during the haj and how these holy and important journey can be improved in future ?

How the tour operators appointed and what grounds they will disqualified, who will take the notice and what are the procedures are followed ?

Alhamdulillah, i recently performed my Third haj in the company of my wife and son.I have all praise for the private Tour Operator for his 5-star hospitality and abiding care and concern for the hajis.
However, my experience with Saudi officials at the airports and other places of pilgrimage has not been good."Hajis are deemed the 'Guests of Allah'!"Yet the officials' emotional tantrums leaves much to be desired.If more number of persons are employed to cope with the increasing number of hajis, the needed change could take place.
Lastly, I felt that the "sanctity '"of the two harems has been sacrificed in the name of "commercialisation of comfort"!

!. First preference be given persons who go to Haj for the first time in their lives.
2.Haj Committee and PrivateTour Operators must secure fullest possible details from applicants like pan card number; medical certificate from a registered medical practitioner that he has robust health to undergo the strain and stress of haj rituals;a declaration that he is ready to pay for the haj expenses from his halal income only;
3. Those who perform "Hajje badal" should disclose that fact and give details
as to for whom he is undertakiing the pilgrimage and the quid pro quo
4.Saudi authorities, namely, custom Police and Muallim's personnel should be courteous towards hajis and smart in their dealings.
5. Sanitary arrangements and wastage management be given high preference and periodical checks be undertken.
6.Specialzed staff be deployed by Tour operators to help hajis at haj terminals and in luggage collection and its transportation.
7. Aged and infirm hajis be provided with wheel chair facilitites for tawwaf and sayee.Thse engaged in such work be licen ced and their service charges be properly regulated.
8. The muallim and tour operators should know that they ar in :service industry and passenger's comfort should be thei main comcern.

sir ,Assalamoalikum.i had perform haj last year along with my parents.my father today he is no more in the world.he suffered lots of problems because our residetial building alloted to us in mecca was in very worst condition even situated at very very sliding level .building was very dirty lots of insects was there like cockroch khatmal ana little snakes inspite of various complaints no action has beeb taken by haj authorities. drinking water as well as common water was not up to the requirement .althouth we apply in first class category but the facilities provided by haj coomittee was worst than third class. till today no refund has made by haj commitee.so proper facilities should be provided to all hajis .

First step, Haraam khori should be stopped like taking Haj subsidy for attending this superstitious myth. If Kashmir cannot have an Amarnath Yatra, you cannot have Haj houses polluting our cities.

There is no doubt that the Indian govt is taking massive steps to improve the service for Haji's. But there is lot to improve...

What i think is..
1) Proper training needs to provided to all the Haji's
2) Most of the Haj's are above 55 and not educated. Hence they wud require special care and guidance.
3) Govt has to deploy more and more guides and volunteers at Meena.
4) Sim card connections and other facilities to be provided before the travel in India itself.

5) Effective transport system from Mecca to Meena.
6) Especially during peek time of Hajj, Indian team should guide and take care of their Haji's.

7) Those who crossed 60 should be given priority in accomodation, transportaion, medical etc.

Hope our govt works towards it.

Haj should be managed by Draul Uloom and applications should be processed online on the "first come first served" basis.

As inernet connection is available in every nook and corner, this can create a lot of short term job opportunities also for everyone.

Airtravel should be tendered as one single package including boarding/lodging.

AI having surplus capacity of aircraft used thier own as against leased aircraft as done every year.
It is also known that Saudia airline undertakes 50 % of the quota of 120000 i.e. 60000 hajjis charging Indian goverment US$ 850/- per hajji as full charter inclusive of all cost & fuel, however this year, NAS have been favoured 22500 hajjis from Saudia ( unilaterally) quota charging goverment US$ 1100/- per hajji, a clear loss to GOI by US$ 250/- per hajji. This is in competition as available at US$ 975/- per hajji from other International charterers, a clear case of unilateral decision against the Govt. policy of availing cost effective means of transport as the entire Hajj movement is subsidised by the GOI.
NAS is not a recognised airline/charterer by the GOI for undertaking this operation as is handled by NOVA in India having brokered this deal & margins of US$ 2.00 million in this operation, a clear loss to GOI.
About 60000 hajjis are undertaken by AI - India at US$ 1400/- as charged to GOI in view of various places of offtake internally on HUB & SPOKE basis.
A look into this matter is necessary.

As salam aleykum, firstly we need to know what all things are lacking from the perspective of a person who has done hajj with totally two different places(e.g. from US and India or with in India from govt. and private).

Before starting for hajj journey, one should attend a training course in which all the aspects of hajj,travelling,food,health,and other related topics are covered by experienced scholars.
Pilgrims should avoid unnecesary luggage like utensils,eating plates,etc as these are availble there at reasonable price if reqd.
Ahram cloth should be suitable for the winter season.
Pilgrims may carry common medicine for cold like zandu balm, amrutanjan etc.In case of sickness they can visit health centers available all along the places of hajj rites.
Pilgrims should take extra care to safeguard their travel documents like passport,ticket and money.
Pilgrim should not be left alone otherwise one can miss the ritual of hajj.
Keep on asking questions about next steps to be taken to the guide.
Upon arrival in saudi arabia hotel familiarize yourself with area and roads.
Purchase a mobile phone simcard.Avoid making calls(expensive),just use it for receiving calls.
In haram sharief(kaaba masjid) there are more than 75 doors,make sure from which door no. you are entering and exiting.Carry your slippers along with you.
Try to reach early in the mosque(30 minutes before each namaz).
During tawaf saee'e keep your purse and documents safe.
Donot get angry at other pilgrims shortcomings,and be patient.
Carry luggage as minimum as possible.Avoid purchasing gold jewellery etc.
Airlines should avoid serving hajis with scantily dressed airhostesses.Airlines shouldnot run music, cinemas and other unislamic programmes.
