The protestors under the aegis of Al-Salah Society assembled at Dargah Hazrat Abbas where Maulana Ameer Haider addressed them denouncing the US led attack on Libya and Saudi Arabia’s onslaught on Bahrain. “They are killing civilians in the garb of restoring peace. The people of the region should be given an opportunity to settle the issue peacefully in a democratic manner,” said the Maulana. The protestors raised slogans against the US led forces branding them as killer of innocents. “The real game is to corner the oil rich area by these imperialist forces. They are least concerned over the killing of innocents in their nefarious designs,” Meesam Rizvi, a protestor.

The protestors demanded that the Indian government using its clout should take steps in restoring peace in the region.
