The "Applied Innovation Awards for Business seek to recognise innovations that infuse newer ideas and newer ways of doing things into all parts of the organization, and improve business outcomes, often without major disruptive change.

"The Innovations should have been matured in an environment of collaboration such as co-innovations, global sourcing or business transformation," said the announcement from Wipro Technologies, the global IT services business of Wipro Limited.

Deadline for the nominations is 11:59 p.m. (Washington time), Aug 31, 2007 (9:29 a.m. IST Sep 1) for awards in six innovation categories: Innovations (Organization); Process Innovation; Business Innovation; Delivery Model Innovation; Service / Product Innovation; and Innovator of the year (Individual).
