Phulwari Sharif (Patna): The relief teams of Imarat Shariah Bihar, Jharkhand and Orissa have spread out to the flood affected areas with food packets, medicines and cloths. They are distributing these essential items among the flood victims.
18 districts of north Bihar are badly affected with flood due to heavy rains since July. Standing crops of lakhs of rupees have destroyed, kutcha houses are completely washed away, towns and villages are disconnected from the other districts and towns, flood water is flowing above four feet on Darbhanga-Madhubani road. Road and train communication have been stopped. Flood situation of these towns Sitamarhi, Muzaffarpur, Samastipur and Darbhanga and almost their all blocks is very serious. The district administration has announced red alert in Samastipur town and have ordered to close all Government and private schools.
Thousand of villages are under water. People are in great fear and living their lives in lacking basic necessities.
The rescue teams of Imarat Shariah, managed by Maulana Noor Alam and Maulana Akhtar Hussain Shamsi is helping the flood affected people with the help of local people.
More than 1 crore of rupees will spend on this programme run by Imarat sharia to help the humanity and to provide the primary relief to the people of flooded areas.
Relief works from the Bihar Government have been awfully slow and therefore relief teams of Imarat Shariah are a God-send for flood affected people.
Every year Bihar is affected by flood but Government fails to take any precautionary measure and provide little relief after the floods.
The employees and volunteers of Imrat Shariah are reaching the victims and helping them with basic amenities.
Maulana Sohail Ahmad Nadvi, Assistant Nazim of Imarat Shariah requested the State Government’s relief commission and friends of humanity to come forward for the help of the flood survivors.
Established in 1921, Imarat Shariah is a socio-religious organization for the Muslims of Bihar, Jharkhand, and Orissa. It runs number of educational institutes, darul qazas and heavily involved in the relief work whenever and wherever needed.
