Baramulla : Special Task Force personnel allegedly manhandled at least three scribes, working with various media Organisations, when they were covering protest demonstration near Higam on Srinagar-Baramulla National Highway.
Special Correspondent News Agency of Kashmir Reyaz Ganai including three scribes was manhandled and their cameras were snatched when they were covering the protest demonstration, on Friday.
The media men were allegedly punished when they failed follow the orders of the police not to cover the demonstration.
Additional SP Spore Imtiyaz Ahmed, however, later intervened and returned the cameras of the media men. He also assured that such incident would not be repeated in future.
