“This is a re-launch of our popular Odomos range of mosquito repellents in the personal application products (PAP) division,” Harkawal Singh, senior manager of Dabur, told reporters.

Kerala has been hit with the mosquito-borne chikungunya and dengue fever in the past year, with two epidemics, one in 2006 and another in July 2007.

Dabur has 96 percent of the market share in mosquito repellents and its share in Kerala grew a record 55 percent this fiscal over the previous year, thanks to the disease outbreaks.
