Gaza : Israeli special forces killed two Hamas militants in an exchange of fire in Gaza City Wednesday.
The Palestinian Media Network, a pro-Hamas news portal, quoted a source from Ezz el-Deen al-Qassam Brigades as saying the two gunmen were watching the border before an undercover army unit infiltrated and killed them.
The incident took place near the Karni commercial crossing on the eastern side of Gaza City. The passageway has been sealed since Hamas took control of the Gaza Strip in mid June.
