New Delhi : The government Wednesday cleared the way for the development of six special economic zones (SEZ) in the country, including two of Infosys Technologies’ in Andhra Pradesh.
Indian IT bellwether Infosys Technologies Ltd proposes to build SEZs of 119.87 hectares and 60.93 hectares in Andhra Pradesh’s Rangareddy district.
The go-ahead was given at a meeting of the Board of Approvals (BOA) on SEZs presided over by Commerce Secretary G.K. Pillai.
The other SEZs cleared are Genpact, Enfield Infrastructure Ltd, Veritas Infrastructure Development Ltd and ISPAT Industries Ltd.
