The Roji Bachao Samiti (Save Livelihood Committee), a recently formed organisation of small businesses in the city, held an hour-long meeting here and decided to hold black flag demonstrations against Modi if he failed to meet them by Aug 15 to discuss their demands.

The organisation has been carrying on a campaign against big retail chains and wants the state government to enforce measures to protect their livelihood.

Samiti president Ratanji Hetalji told IANS after the meeting that the campaign would continue until the state government evolved a solution to their concerns.

He said the Samiti will wave black flags in all functions in the city in which the chief minister participated if he failed to respond to their plea.
