Rio de Janeiro : Two people were killed when a single engine aircraft in Rio Grande do Sul state of Brazil crashed in a yard of a house, the Spanish news agency EFE said.
The cause of the accident, which occurred late Saturday in the Vale dos Vinhedos, near the city of Bento Goncalvez, is being ascertained.
The aircraft was flying over the area when it suddenly went into a dive and fell in the yard of a house, witnesses said.
The victims have not yet been identified. The plane was registered to the aviation club in Garibaldi, a city in Rio Grande do Sul.
