Floods kill 67 in Vietnam

Hanoi : Floods have killed 67 people in Vietnam’s central and central highlands region, according to a flood and storm prevention agency Monday.

The disaster has since early this month badly hit the central provinces of Ha Tinh and Quang Binh and the central highland provinces of Dac Lac and Lam Dong, according to the Steering Committee for Flood and Storm Prevention.

The flooding has also inundated many houses, irrigation works and paddy fields and uprooted a number of trees.
