New Delhi : Former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee will stay at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) for another day.
The condition of the 83-year-old Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader, who was admitted to hospital Tuesday after he complained of giddiness, was stable and satisfactory, authorities said.
“He will be kept in hospital for one more day to complete all investigations,” said Shakti Gupta, chief medical officer of the R.P. Centre of Ophthalmology.
“His condition is stable and satisfactory. He had his morning breakfast and all his vital signs are normal,” Gupta added.
A team of cardiologists, neurologists and physicians are closely monitoring his condition.
