Washington : A new study has said that exposure to sun for 10 to 15 minutes every day could cut breast cancer risk in women.
Vitamin D deficiency may be to blame for 600,000 cancer cases worldwide each year, particularly in northern European countries where sun exposure levels are relatively low.
Spending more time in the sun could boost vitamin D levels and may cut this risk, researchers Cedric Garland and colleagues at the Moores Cancer Center at the University of California said.
