Tehran : Foreign Ministry Spokesman Mohammad Ali Hosseini called here Tuesday the recent agreements among five Iraqi political parties as positive and constructive.
According to the Information and Press Bureau of the Foreign Ministry, Hosseini expressed the hope that the results of the agreement would bring welfare and security for the Iraqi people.
On Iran’s assessment of convergence among Iraqi groups, he said “We welcome positive impacts of such meetings at various levels mainly consolidation of unity based on the will of the Iraqi people, its democratic government, implementation of Iraqi constitution and ending interference of foreigners in the country’s internal affairs.”
