Islamabad : Pakistan has rejected India’s allegation that it has been maintaining contacts with the Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG) to sabotage the US-India civil nuclear deal and said such contacts are normal and routine.
Foreign Office spokesperson Tasnim Aslam Thursday told a private TV channel that Islamabad had been in contact with the NSG for several years, Online news agency reported.
She said Pakistan has had contacts with the NSG before the civil nuclear deal between New Delhi and Washington was talked about.
“We have (had) these contacts for several years prior to the US-India civil nuclear deal and we would continue maintaining these contacts,” the spokesperson said.
