Bhubaneswar : Armed Maoists have killed a man in a village in Orissa’s Rayagada district, police said Saturday.
The rebels entered Lokaguma village, around 380 km from here, Friday night, dragged a villager, Jiti Jagaranga, from his home and killed him, District Superintendent of Police Ashis Kumar Singh told IANS.
A case has been registered at Gudari police station, under which Lokaguma falls, and the motive behind the killing is being investigated, he said.
