New Delhi : Nine people, including a teenaged boy, were injured after a state-run Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) bus in which they were travelling rammed into a truck in northwest Delhi Friday afternoon.
The mishap occurred at around 12.10 p.m. The bus, plying on route No 193 between Lahori Gate and Narela, hit a truck from behind after its driver, Mahender Singh Khatri, lost control of the vehicle near Tikri village on GT-Karnal road.
According to police, all the injured were admitted to the nearby Raja Harish Chandra Hospital, where they are recuperating.
“We have registered a case of negligent driving,” said a senior police official.
