Saudi official inaugurates Spanish exhibition

Riyadh : On behalf of Culture and Information Minister Iyad bin Amin Madani, Under Secretary for Information affairs Dr. Abdullah Al-jassir inaugurated here last night a week-long exhibition of Spanish artist Carlos Diath, which is entitled “Light and color.”

The opening ceremony was attended by the Spanish ambassador to The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Manuel Alabart.

The exhibition is hosted by The Ministry of Culture and Information at King Abdulaziz historical Center at the Riyadh- based National Museum.

Dr. Al-jassir toured the various sections of the exhibition and expressed his admiration for what he had seen.

“The Spanish heritage is not strange for Saudi citizens and I hope that Saudi heritage will be the same to Spanish citizens,” he added.

On his part, ambassador Alabart expressed his pleasure for showing the first exhibition for Spanish formative artist in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the past several years and thanked the Ministry for hosting the Exhibition which reflects the friendly relations between the two Countries.
