Bangalore : Dark clouds and cool breeze welcomed the Indian and Pakistani teams here as they landed here Wednesday for the third and final cricket Test starting at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium Saturday.
The teams flew in the same plane from Kolkata, where the second Test ended in a draw Tuesday, and were welcomed by a pleasant breeze at the HAL Airport.
India lead the three-match series 1-0, having won the first match in New Delhi.
The Pakistan team’s media co-ordinator, Javed Akhtar, said the players would take a day off and would have their first practice session Thursday.
Pakistan have summoned fast bowler Abdur Rauf for the third Test. He will replace second wicketkeeper Sarfraz Ahmed. “He should be arriving here by this evening,” Akhtar told IANS.
