After a shocking and controversial day when he made the call, Morales delivers today his proposal on a referendum of revocation that delegitimates accusations of authoritarianism against him.

The Bolivian statesman challenged top department authorities to be consistent and submit to the people”s will, to decide if social changes are approved or not.

“Do not be afraid of the people,” stated the head of State, who invited international observers.

Morales challenged conservative parties to defend their positions from a democratic point of view, instead of deceiving the people and manipulate it with a double contradictory speech.

The proposal generated an immediate response among his adversaries, many of whom decided to get acquainted with the content of the bill before making a statement.

The statesman assured that the new constitutional text will be ready on December 14, although he admitted that his enemies will try to hinder its approval.
