Two injured in Hazaribagh court blast

Ranchi : At least two persons were injured in a blast in the premises of the Hazaribagh district court Friday afternoon, police said.

According to police, the blast took place at around 4.15 p.m. at the court’s lock up room where under trials are kept for producing before the court.

The blast was a minor one that injured only two under trials, police said.

Police believe that some one passed the bomb-making material inside the lock up.

Police officials could not say whether the blast had any terror link.

In 2005, 17 under trails, who were brought to the court, had escaped.
