Bangalore : Pakistan vice captain Younis Khan says he will lead the side in the absence of injured captain Shoaib Malik in the third and final Test against India starting here Saturday.
Younis, apparently peeved at not being given the playing XI of his choice in the second Test in Kolkata, had told the team management that he would not captain the side if he did not get the team of his choice for the Bangalore match.
The Kolkata match was drawn, mainly because of Younis’ brilliant rearguard century. India lead the series 1-0.
