Mottaki, addressing a gathering of students of Amir Kabir University in Tehran, said “our positions regarding our nuclear program is very clear and transparent, and we are not after adventures but want to use nuclear energy for peaceful domains.”

Mottaki said the recent US intelligence report about the Iranian nuclear program included “correct and false information.”

He described the allegations by the West that Iran sought to acquire nuclear weapons as “the big lie which was later proven false.”

He called on all parties concerned with the Iranian nuclear file to “abandon the military option against Iran.”
