Riyadh : Minister of Higher Education Dr Khalid Al-Anqari has approved allocation of SR 29 million for financing the project of development of innovation and distinction for members of the academic staff at the Saudi universities.
This program is concerned with organization of training courses in various domains pertaining to the methods of teachings and usage of technology in education as well as following up the developments in the fields of researches and skills and diversification of information sources.
This was announced by undersecretary of the higher education ministry for educational affairs Dr Ahmad al-Ohali.
He noted that the program is currently implemented at nine universities in addition to four new universities.
The program includes education, usage of internet in education and teaching skills and other related issues.
