Algiers : The activities of the Saudi-Algerian Forum were organized here today.
The Forum was organized by the Saudi embassy in Algiers in cooperation with the Algerian National Library to mark the end of the Saudi Cultural Days hosted by Algeria last week.
The Forum was opened by Saudi ambassador to Algeria Dr Sami al-Salih and Director General of the Algerian National Library Dr Emin al-Zawi.
Speaking on the occasion, al-Salih highlighted the existing strong fraternal relations between the Kingdom and Algeria, and said the organization of the Saudi cultural days in Algeria embodies the keenness of the Kingdom on further cementing the bilateral relations in a manner that serves the mutual interests.
The ambassador extended the gift of the ministry of culture and information to the Algerian national library which included a number of valuable books amounting to 400, including books written by prominent Saudi writers.
