Three Muslims qualify for Indian Military Academy 124th Course

New Delhi: Three Muslims have qualified for 124th Course of the Indian Military Academy at Dehradun.

The results for admission to the 124th Course of Indian Military Academy, Dehradun; Naval Academy, Goa and Air Force Station, Begumpet, Hyderabad (Pre-Flying) Training Course i.e. (183rd F(P) Course) were declared today by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

Combined Defence Services Examination (I)-2007 was conducted by UPSC and interviews held by Service Selection Board of the Ministry of Defence.

Md. Wasim Qureshi is ranked 75th, Salim Khan at 100 and Mohammad Owais Khan is at 110 of the qualifying list. Muslims failed to qualify for Naval Academy and Air Force Academy.

The number of vacancies is 250 for Indian Military Academy [including 32 vacancies reserved for NCC ‘C’ Certificate (Army Wing) holders], 30 for Naval Academy, Goa – Course [including 6 reserved for NCC ‘C’ Certificate (Naval Wing) holders] and 52 for Air Force Academy.

A total of 148 qualified for Indian Military Academy, 33 for Naval Academy and 70 for Air Force Academy.

124th Course: 3 (out of 148)
123rd Course: 3 (out of 274)
122nd Course: 4 (out of 302)
121st Course: 4
