Mumbai : Ameya Walawalkar and Rayomand Banajee, the 2007 champions of the MRF-MAI Indian National Karting Championships, became the first Indians to qualify for the two-day CIK FIA Asia Pacific Championship 2007, starting Dec 15.
Walawalkar and Banajee will be participating in the KF1 class, the top level of karting in the world and will be driving the Tony Kart, manufactured by one of the best chassis suppliers in the world.
Walawalkar and Banajee will be competing against 30 of the best drivers from Europe and Asia.
