Top junior golfers in action at Sunfeast Championship

New Delhi : Some of the top junior golfers in the country will be seen in action during the Sunfeast All India Junior Golf Championship to be teed off at the Army Golf course here Tuesday.

Leading the field of 120 golfers will be in-form Rashid Khan who has recently claimed the Sunfeast Western India title.

The 16-year-old Delhi Golf Club product had also claimed the Nick Faldo Series title in China this year. But here, he is expected to face tough competition from the likes of Chikkarangappa, who is the youngest golfer to represent India in the Nomura Cup and numerous national titles holder Rahul Bakshi.

The four-day competition will be a four-round stroke play format for A, B and C categories, while the players in D category will have three rounds. The field will be reduced to 50 per cent after the first two rounds.
