An NTT official announced on Tuesday that the first telephone sets provided with Google Internet-resources are to come into being next spring, Itar-Tass reported.

Eight years ago the NTT launched an i-mode technology and has been continuously developing it ever since. The i-mode technology is designed to adapt the Internet, including interactive services, to the functions of mobile phones.

This hi-tech service, oriented to the specific client, is popular both in Japan and a number of other countries. It is also within the people’s reach in Russia. The i-mode will now be reinforced with the most powerful network retrieval system. The Google Inc. now accounts for about 70 percent of referrals in Internet data retrieval.
