Islamabad : The Attorney General (AG) of Pakistan, Malik Muhammad Qayum, has said the demise of Benazir Bhutto will have a far reaching impact on the future of the country and in the present condition the holding of general elections seems difficult.
Talking to local Geo News channel from China, Malik Qayum expressed sorrow on the killing of Bhutto.
He said she was a big political leader and the gap created by her death will never be filled.
This is no time for worrying about politics, but now all of us should think about the interest of the country, he added.
The general elections are to be held on January 8th.
